I have one word to discribe this book...."Amazing." The characters, plot, even the writing style blew me away! It was very hard for me to put this book down at night (even at 4 in the morning) all I wanted to do was see what was next for Nora and Patch! Let me tell you ladies Patch is one fictional character that I am seriously in love with. He has that bad boy/sarcastic attitude that just makes you wish he was real.

I can not get over how realistic the characters seemed to me, every character in the book reminded me of someone I knew. Becca Fitzpatrick did an amazing job of making the characters feel realistic and not in an overdone way! The plot was also another one of my favorite things mainly because other than the fantasy aspects the scenarios Nora finds herself in felt very life like.

I loved the fantasy aspect of this book, it was refreshing, something new (don't worry guys I am not going to spoil it for you) It just really opened my eyes to something new. I was really disappointed when it ended because I just wanted to keep reading, then someone told me there is going to be a sequel called Crescendo!!!! I really hope that is true mainly because I think all of you out there should read this book and you just like me will be wanting more!

Review: Dead to the World (Sookie Stackhouse Series #4)

This book was great, it really captured a different side to Eric that I was definitly hoping to see! However he has amnesia so I guess it dosnt count, or does it? I was glad Bill was only in this book for maybe a total of 12 pages because I really do not like him at this point because he does not seem sweet, or funny, or anything. He is just kinda blah, and I find that other character really have a more intersting take.

This book was a little less suspenseful then the first three, but I did not seem to mind. It had more charaterization in it which seemed to interest me. Some of the characters you do not get to know very well (Pam, Chow, Eric, Alcide) really start to open up in this book. Also the plot I found to be very well played out, I think it was because a main character had lost his memory. So it was interesting to see how he reacted to characters he already knew.

I am pretty sure this is my favorite book out of the series so far, because it was not all about Sookie and Bill. It had a wider range of characters and sub-plots, that kept me reading chapter after chapter until I passed out. I highly recommed this book especially if you have read the first three (Dead Until Dark, Living Dead in Dallas, Club Dead) and if you havent I suggest picking them up!

But when she finally finds Bill-caught in an act of betrayal-she's not sure whether to save him...or sharpen some stakes.

Well the I felt the start to this book was rather slow, but as I continued reading I felt myself unable to put the book down. It seems that this series keeps getting better and better with the next book. In this book Sookie has to travel to Mississippi to track down her boyfriend Bill who has been captured, only to discover that he has intended to leave her.

Through out her journey Sookie meets new characters one of my particular favorites is Alcide, which I hope he continues through out the rest of the series. Alcide is a Werewolf who helps Sookie on her journey, and I like his role mainly because you get more insight on how they view "Weres". Also if you are a huge Eric fan you will love this book (I know I did!) Eric plays big roles in this book. Also there is a posibility for a love square? Hmm I guess you guys will just have to see who it is =)

Overall like I said I love this series and I am just happy to see that its not always Bill and Sookie fighting. My opinion is I think Sookie should hook up with Eric, he is alot funnier =) However I do recommend reading this, just make sure you have read "Dead until Dark", and "Living Dead in Dallas" first.
