For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf--her wolf--is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the cold makes him shift back again.

Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

If you love to read, you must read this book! It has everything in it that I could ever ask for in a spectacular storyline. Love, Danger, fantasy, and so much more that kept me in a trance through out this entire book. I love when a book comes around where I can actually feel what the characters are feeling, and I am not going to lie I cried and laughed and so much more to this book. The characters are all so interesting and perfect in their own way. Especially Sam, Sam has such an interesting background and I am glad that Stiefvater incorporated it into the plot. Another one of my favorite characters was Beck, Beck was like a father to Sam and the way that he was portrayed just made fall in love with him.

The way that Stiefvater wrote this book was perfect, I love how it jumped from Grace's point of view to Sam's. It really felt like I was there with them going through the obstacles that they were going through. Especially since Sam is a wolf it was interesting to see his mind pattern when he was a wolf and then keeping some of the same features when he was human. The plot of the book is what sold everything to me though (don't worry no spoilers), it was suspensful and kept me reading into the early hours of the morning. Also through out the book I definitly felt a connection between the characters and the plot. It was as if every detail of this book was molded perfectly to fit in.

I would not be surprised to see this book being a best seller, because it was truly that good. I would definitly recommend this book not only to my readers on here, but also to anyone I found in a bookstore trying to find a good book! If you love young adult, fantasy, and wolves, this book has your name written all over it.
